A social media post attributed to Muhoozi Kainerugaba has triggered widespread outrage after appearing to threaten the life of veteran opposition leader Kizza Besigye.

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has appointed Dr. Joseph Okech as Acting Director General, following the resignation of Daniel Kiptoo amid the ongoing fuel stock scandal.

This follows Uhuru’s comments made last week during the burial ceremony of former Kirinyaga County senator Daniel Karaba, where he was accompanied by several opposition leaders who used the platform to criticise the current administration.
