The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has opened applications for 217 job vacancies, inviting qualified Kenyan professionals to join its ranks.


The recruitment follows Section 13(2) of the ODPP Act No. 2 of 2013, which grants the Director the authority to appoint, direct, and supervise staff to ensure the office achieves its mandate.


ODPP Director Renson Ingonga emphasised that the positions aim to strengthen the office’s capacity to uphold justice and promote its objectives.

"Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the under-listed vacancies," the official advertisement published on MyGov on Tuesday, March 10, stated.

Interested applicants must submit their applications online via the official ODPP website. The office has made it clear that hard copy applications will not be accepted.


Director Ingonga highlighted the ODPP’s commitment to Article 232(1) of the Constitution, which promotes inclusivity and diversity.


People with disabilities, intersex individuals, and members of underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.


Candidates who make the shortlist will be required to present original national identification cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during interviews.
