Kenyans are still reeling from the sudden demise of Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng'eno.
Ng'eno passed away on Saturday, February 28, after the helicopter he was travelling in alongside four associates crashed and burst into flames in Chepkiep Forest.
As many come to terms with his sudden death, social media users have been revisiting past moments he shared with the late former prime minister Raila Odinga.
One video has particularly stood out, showing how the late ODM leader contributed to Ng'eno's political journey.
In the video, Raila explained how he once paid Ng'eno's school fees when he was studying at university.
"What Ng'eno forgot to tell you is that I paid for his fees when he was in university. He is someone I have known for a long time and we have had multiple conversations," Raila said.
Raila also explained how his political ideologies aligned with Ng'eno, especially when it came to opposing the targeting of one's family in the name of politics.
The late MP studied at Maseno School before advancing to higher education at a university in Kyiv, Ukraine. There, he pursued a degree in public law before returning home to vie for the Emurua Dikirr parliamentary seat in 2013.
He secured victory in that year's General Election and went on to serve the constituency for three terms.
