Association President Albert Karakacha said the decision follows the latest fuel price hike, which has significantly raised operational costs for matatu operators.

According to EPRA, the price of super petrol has increased by Ksh28.69 per litre, while diesel has risen by Ksh40.30 per litre. The price of kerosene, however, remains unchanged.

EPRA said the maximum retail price of Super Petrol will increase by KSh28.69 per litre, while Diesel will rise by a steeper KSh40.30 per litre. Kerosene prices will remain unchanged.

According to EPRA's most recent pricing review, the price of Super Petrol will rise by Ksh28.69 per litre, whereas Diesel will experience a more significant increase of Ksh40.30 per litre.
