Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi’s Sister, Winnie Nyambura, Dies

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has announced the death of his sister, Winnie Peninah Nyambura.

In a message shared on his official Facebook page, Governor Wamatangi confirmed the passing of his sister and mourned her as a dearly loved family member.

“Death is cruel. It takes from us the people we love and cherish, leaving a hurting void. But we have to accept the will of God because it’s in Him we take comfort during such times. Rest in eternal peace, my sister, Winnie Peninah Nyambura. As a family, we cherish the times God allowed us to be together. Go well Nyambura.”

Following the announcement, President William Ruto expressed his condolences in a post on X.

“May the Lord grant Governor Kimani Wamatangi strength to bear with the loss of his dear sister, Winnie Nyambura.”

He added that the family, friends, and the people of Kiambu are in his thoughts and prayers during this painful moment.
