KRA Announces 250 Job Vacancies for Kenyans; How to Apply

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced a recruitment, offering 250 jobs opportunities for Kenyans across different departments.
In a public notice displaying the advertisement, KRA said it was seeking for a self-motivated, self-disciplined and result-oriented individuals with high integrity to fill positions in tax, customs, investigations, enforcement and corporate services.
These positions include Chief Manager roles in Micro & Small Taxpayers, Customs & Border Control, Shared Services, Investigations & Enforcement and Business Strategy, Transformation & Corporate Services (BSTCS).
Other positions include Chief Manager roles in Compliance, Revenue Monitoring & Reporting, Revenue Audit Centre, Taxpayer Education, Factory Control, Licensing & Management, Post Clearance Audit, Border Control & Detection, Passenger Clearance, Internal Affairs, System Administration & Data Centre Management, Business Application Support, Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design, Data Engineering, Network Management, and Business Solution Development.
“This recruitment underscored KRA’s commitment to building a professional and efficient workforce capable of enhancing voluntary compliance and service delivery,” the notice stated.
According to the authority, the move is aimed at strengthening service delivery and improving compliance with Kenya’s revenue laws.
“Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online via the KRA e-recruitment portal at https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login,” KRA stated.
Additionally, all candidates must register with a personal email, complete their profiles, upload all required documents in PDF format and then apply for the specific positions of interest.
“KRA do not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process. Any form of canvassing led to automatic disqualification,” the Authority cautioned.
Applications must be received on or before September 8, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
Application Requirements
Successful candidates will be expected to provide clearance certificates as required under Chapter Six of the Constitution. These include:
A valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
A valid tax compliance certificate from KRA.
A clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
A current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
A valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
KRA emphasised that presenting false certificates or incorrect information in applications constituted a criminal offence.
