Raymond Omollo Ranked Best Performing PS

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has been named the best-performing Principal Secretary in President William Ruto’s government.
PS Omollo received the recognition during the Star Leaders Awards by Politrack Africa held in Nairobi on Thursday, April 2. According to the poll, he scored 69.3 percent, narrowly ahead of Sports PS Elijah Mwangi, who earned 68.5 percent.
Basic Education PS Julius Bitok and Energy PS Alex Wachira tied for third place with 66 percent, while Youth Affairs and Creative Economy PS Fikirini Jacobs was fourth at 64.1 percent. Roads PS Joseph Mbugua finished sixth with 63.6 percent.
At the county level, Simba Arati was ranked Kenya’s best-performing governor with a score of 66.4 percent. Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Machakos Governor Wavinya
Ndeti shared second place at 65.1 percent, while Wajir Governor Ahamed Abdullahi, Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, and Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi tied for third with 63.9 percent. Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga was fourth at 63 percent.
In the National Assembly, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino emerged as the best-performing legislator.
In a statement on Friday, April 3, Babu thanked his constituents, noting that the award reflected their collective support.
“Last night at Serena Hotel, I was deeply honored to be recognized as the Best Member of Parliament in Kenya. This achievement is not mine alone; it belongs to the people I serve, whose trust and support continue to inspire my work every day,” he said.
The ODM MP emphasized that his track record reflects a commitment to accountability, progress, and service delivery.
“Leadership is not about titles, power, or positions; it is about service. And I will continue to serve with integrity, humility, and unwavering focus on the people,” he added, pledging to remain dedicated to delivering tangible results that improve the lives of wananchi.
