Former President Uhuru Kenyatta appeared in high spirits as he attended the burial of the late Kirinyaga Senator Daniel Karaba on Wednesday, April 1.
The funeral service, held at Njegas Primary School in Kirinyaga Central, drew several political leaders, including former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Martha Karua and DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Uhuru’s appearance comes amid viral reports over the weekend that had raised concerns about his well-being. However, the former Head of State appeared relaxed and jovial throughout the ceremony.
He was seen seated next to Gachagua during the service, a moment that drew attention given the evolving political dynamics in the country.
