UoE, declared vacancies across 18 positions. The roles cut across teaching, administration, health services, transport and farm management.
In its notice, the university said it is recruiting results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic and experienced individuals with high integrity.
“Interested applicants to send electronic scanned copies of their applications in PDF format addressed to the Vice-Chancellor by midnight on September 5th,” UoE stated.
Among the advertised positions are senior lecturer, university chaplain, senior assistant dean of students, accountants, clinical officer, farm manager, transport officer, supply chain management assistant, counsellors, registrar and driver.
“Applications received after the deadline will not be considered, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” the university cautioned.
It also reminded applicants to provide all relevant academic and professional certificates, testimonials and valid documents required under Chapter Six of the Constitution.
The institution emphasized inclusivity, noting that women, persons with disabilities and marginalized groups are encouraged to apply.

Meanwhile, Kenya Utalii College, the premier institution for hospitality and tourism training in the region, has also opened recruitment for senior-level positions.
The college council is seeking professionals who can provide strategic leadership and implement institutional policies.
Positions advertised include directors in strategy, partnerships and enterprise, human resource and administration and Utalii Hotel management among others.
Unlike many traditional contracts, Utalii stated that the new appointments will be offered on one-year renewable terms, subject to performance and the national retirement age policy.
“The council is looking for innovative, vibrant professionals who can steer the college forward in line with its vision of being the gateway to international careers in hospitality and tourism,” the notice read.
Applicants are required to send both physical and electronic submissions, with the deadline set for September 19th.
However, the college made it clear that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
“Those who had applied earlier are encouraged to submit fresh applications. We are keen on transparency and merit-based selection,” the college said.
