KPLC Warns of Power Outages in Eight Counties on Wednesday, March 11

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced scheduled maintenance that will cause temporary power interruptions in parts of eight counties on Wednesday, March 11.


The outages are expected to last between four and eight hours, depending on the area.


According to the utility man, the interruptions are necessary to carry out maintenance, upgrade power lines, replace ageing infrastructure, and connect new customers. Residents are urged to plan ahead to minimise disruptions.

Nairobi


  • Parklands (9 am–1 pm): Laxcon, Kongonis, St. Francis Church, Ojijo Road, Wambugu Road, Chiromo Road, Muthithi Road

  • Kilimani & Ngong Road (9 am–5 pm): Part of Ngong Road, Muchai Drive, Coptic Hospital, China Centre, Kabarnet Road, School of Nursing, City Oil, National Oil, Uchumi, Ngong Road Hotel, Bishop Magua, part of Kindaruma, China City


Uasin Gishu (9 am–5 pm)


  • Kesses, Chorowet, Lelmokwo, Lelmolok, Ketiplong, Ngecheck, Kampnyamisa, Lelboinet, Ngeria Girls, Koros Secondary School, Tegut, Kapng’etuny, Ndupeneti, Belekenya


Nyeri (9 am–5 pm)
