CUE Advertises 12 Job Vacancies, Application Details

The Commission for University Education (CUE) has re-advertised 12 vacancies in various departments as part of its effort to strengthen quality assurance in Kenya’s higher education sector.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, the commission invited qualified and self-driven candidates to apply for the positions before September 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

“The Commission for University Education seeks to recruit dynamic, result-oriented and self-driven individuals to advance its mandate of promoting and assuring quality in university education,” CUE said in the notice.

Among the openings are posts for Senior Assistant Commission Secretary in Quality Audit, Programme Accreditation, and Institutional Accreditation.

Other advertised roles include Senior ICT Officer, Corporate Communications Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Supply Chain Management Officer, and Office Assistant.

Successful applicants will be appointed on either permanent and pensionable terms or renewable contracts, depending on the position.

Interested candidates are required to submit applications online through the CUE careers portal on the commission’s website, www.cue.or.ke.

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to present original certificates and other supporting documents for verification during interviews.

“Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and applicants that canvassing will lead to disqualification,” CUE warned.

CUE, established under the Universities Act, Cap 210B Laws of Kenya, helps in making better provisions for the advancement of quality university education in Kenya, which entails regulating and accrediting universities and universities academic programmes, among other functions.
