The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced that it will conduct county delegates elections across the country on Monday, August 25, 2025.

In a notice issued on Monday, the party’s National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) said the elections will be held at designated polling centres, with the exception of Migori, Nairobi and Kisumu counties.

“Eligible delegates of the branches, as published on the ODM Party website, can apply for any positions at the county offices,” Emily Awita said in the statement, the NECC chairperson.

ODM further outlined application fees for aspirants seeking various positions in the county offices.

Non-executive positions will attract a fee of Sh1,000, while women, youth, disability and special interest representatives will pay Sh2,500. Aspirants for executive positions, other than the chairperson, will be required to pay Sh5,000, while those eyeing the chairperson’s seat will pay Sh10,000.

“The process is transparent and open to all eligible delegates. ODM is committed to fair, credible, and inclusive elections,” Awita said.

According to NECC, application fees must be paid through the ODM party Paybill number 985900, with the account number being the position sought.

In addition to the county elections, ODM announced ward and constituency-level elections in Kasipul Constituency.

“The East Kamagak Ward elections will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, followed by the Kasipul Constituency elections on Thursday, August 21, 2025,” the statement read in part.

The party noted that the elections are part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen internal democracy and ensure grassroots structures remain active ahead of the 2027 General Election.
