KPLC Announces Planned Power Outage in Several Counties Including Nairobi On March 18


Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced a scheduled power outage on March 18 in several areas as part of routine maintenance and system upgrades.


The planned outage is to allow KPLC to carry out necessary repairs, replacements, and maintenance work on the electrical grid. These efforts are aimed at improving the reliability and quality of power supply in the future.


The affected areas include:


Nairobi County


Area: Part of Parklands (9 am - 5 pm)

Part of Parklands Road, Parklands Police Station, Sivachi Road, The Crescent Road, Maua Close, Moven Pick Hotel, Mayfair, and adjacent customers.


Area: Parts of Ruai (8 am - 5 pm)

Quickmart S/Market, Ruai Family Hospital, Kamulu, Stage 26, Kanisani, Ngundu, and adjacent customers.


Kajiado County


Area: Lower Matasia (8 am - 5 pm)

Kamula, Barabara Mpya, Kahara St. Patrick, Mwalimu Road, Oleteyani, Ilimasin, Olooses, Kisamis, Homeboys, Lingaloj, Ilidoriak, Tinga, Esonorua, and adjacent customers.


Area: Ngong Hills (8 am - 5 pm)

Kamula, Nkoroi, Matasia, and adjacent customers.


Nakuru County


Area: Maai Mahiu (9 am - 5 pm)
